Terms of Service

The rules of the game. Break them, and you get the ban hammer. Simple as that.

1. Don't Be a Troll

Anek is for fixing communities, not tearing them down. If you post fake issues, spam the board with nonsense, or harass other citizens in the comments, we will strike you down with the force of a thousand angry moderators.

  • No NSFW content. Please, there are children here.
  • No fake pothole reports just to farm Good Citizen Points (GCP). We'll find out, and it's pathetic.
  • Be respectful. Mild roasting is fine, toxic waste is not.

2. Good Citizen Points (GCP)

GCP is our fake internet currency that translates into real rewards. However:

  • GCP has no actual monetary value. Don't try to pay your taxes with it.
  • We reserve the right to wipe your points if we catch you exploiting the system.
  • Rewards are subject to availability. If we run out of free coffee vouchers, tough luck. Go touch grass instead.

3. Liability (Or Lack Thereof)

We just provide the platform. If you trip on a sidewalk you were supposed to report, or get into a fight with a raccoon while taking a picture of a trash pile, that's entirely on you. Anek is provided "as-is", with all its bugs, quirks, and glory.

4. Account Termination

We can ban you for any reason, at any time, without warning. If you act like a clown, you're getting kicked out of the circus. By clicking "Sign Up" (or just using the app), you agree that you are at our absolute mercy.
